elemental symbols

The graphic at the right displays the symbols of the five elements. To help you remember which is which, when you are not in front of your computer, think of them this way:

Spirit - resembles a person or goddess

Water - resembles an ocean wave

Fire - resembles flames radiating outward and smoke curling inward

Earth - resembles a living tree growing up from the ground

Air - resembles a cumulous cloud

To wrap the ring choose a starting point between any two symbols. On the graphic below that starting point will be position . Wrap a thread or wire around the ring twice at this point then go to position and wrap it once. continue on to position and wrap it once. Do the same at position and then at positions and then back to position . Wrap it here an extra time or two and cut the string or wire.
